Welcome to
Cuyuna Family Camp!

Twin Valley Council, BSA

Something for the Entire Family!

Cuyuna Scout Camp is located in scenic North Central Minnesota. The camp is on 640 acres north of Brainerd and just outside of Crosslake. There are 5 beautiful lakes that border on the camp and one, Russel Lake, which is fully within camp boundaries. It is not unheard of to see eagles, and loons are a common occurrence. The camp boasts a beautiful wooded area and is known for its birch and pine trees.

Cuyuna Scout Camp offers an area just for scouting families. Our family camp area is located on Pickerel Lake where there are row boats, canoes, a paddle boat, and a lot of great fishing.  There is also a shower facility with flush toilets.

When you come, you can just pitch a tent or pull in your camper. There are electrical hook-ups available. Reservations are not needed for the camping area. It is first-come, first-serve, but there is plenty of room for everyone.  (You must have an actively registered Scout or be a registered Scouter to use Family Camp.)

Cuyuna Family Camp is open May 1 through October 31 yearly. Come for a weekend or come for a week – we would love to see you again!

Family Camp Cabins available

Are you looking for a way to bring the whole family to Cuyuna?  In 2007, Cabin 1 and Cabin 2 in Family camp will be available during the normal camping season. Please spread the word, because in years past these cabins were not available during the camping season. This could be a great way to bring the whole family to camp for a week. In addition, it might be a way to get the parents involved who are not thrilled about sleeping out side!  Please visit the link below to make your reservations.   Cabin rental is $100.00 per night.
